Barrymore relished turning 30
Hollywood sweetheart Drew Barrymore relished turning 30 in February because it meant she expanded her twentysomething dreams into reality.
The Wedding Singer actress doesn't understand why so many 29-year-old women dread hitting 30, insisting it's a great age to be.
Barrymore tells the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine: "It's the best time in my life. What could be traumatic about it? I don't think I've ever been happier.
"Being 30 means taking all of the things that worked in my 20s into my 30s, but not wanting it to be a carbon-copy decade and repeat everything. The first thing I chucked was guilt. Because I'm such a
people-pleaser, I transform too many things into guilt.
"I want to take career goals to new heights. I want to travel more, expand my horizons. I want to do everything from direct a film to write a travel magazine."
