Burton refuses to change his 'misunderstood' image
20/10/2005 - 18:10:16Hollywood director Tim Burton is unhappy with his image as the prince of cinematic darkness, insisting he's a misunderstood artist.
The Charlie And The Chocolate Factory film-maker refuses to change his gothic movie output for more lightweight material.
He says: "I've always been misrepresented. You know, I could dress in a clown costume and laugh with the happy people but they'd still say I'm a dark personality."
