Brown sentenced to three years' probation for drink-driving

A lawyer for Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of singer Whitney Houston, entered a no contest plea for the singer to a drink-driving charge stemming from an arrest last month.
Los Angeles city attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan said Brown was sentenced to three years of informal probation and a 90-day alcohol education course.
The former New Edition singer was arrested on March 26 after he was spotted talking on a mobile phone without a hands-free kit.
