Amanda Holden is set to take her newborn baby along with her when she returns to 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions.

The 40-year-old star – who spent three days in critical condition in hospital after giving birth to her daughter Hollie Rose via an emergency caesarean section last month – wants to keep her little one as close to her as possible when she go backs to work at the auditions in Edinburgh on Saturday.

A show source told The People newspaper: "She thinks people on the set will be delighted to have a baby there. She is absolutely besotted with Hollie, she is beautiful. Amanda is so contented and happy.”

Amanda – who sits on the judging panel of the ITV1 show alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon – never had a nanny to look after her daughter Lexi, six, and she wants the same for her newborn.

The insider added: "Amanda has never had a nanny. She has always preferred to take care of Lexi herself, and wants to do the same with Hollie."

After suffering two miscarriages in the last two years, Amanda is now hoping to help other women who have been through similar trauma.

The source explained: "She is hoping to become involved in some charity projects. Amanda has been through some tough times but is a real trouper and has held it together.”
