Beckinsale slams 'shallow' surgery
08/10/2006 - 12:48:35Hollywood beauty Kate Beckinsale has ruled out ever undergoing plastic surgery, branding cosmetic procedures "shallow".
The actress was recently forced to age her body in make-up for new movie Click, and admits she hated the extra wrinkles and sagging skin.
Despite her horror however, Beckinsale insists advancing years are no excuse for surgery.
She says: "It was really hard sitting in make-up for six hours and then end up looking worse that you are in real life. I hated looking old.
"Nothing bothers me except the connotations of being a person who would have plastic surgery. That implies a kind of shallowness and thoughtlessness I don't feel applies to me."
