Jennifer Aniston is taking a break from acting to have an “adventure”, she has revealed.

The 40-year-old actress – who recently finished filming ‘The Bounty’ in New York - is going on hiatus for the rest of the year once she finishes promoting new movie ‘Love Happens’.

She said: “I’m going to go on an adventure, take myself somewhere. I won’t start another job until at least January. I’m going to throw myself into my production company Echo and just keep plugging away.”

Despite admitting she needs a rest, Jennifer refuses to complain about her hectic schedule.

Whenever she gets stressed or feels down she has a simple coping mechanism.

She explained to FOX News: “It’s all mind over matter, you acknowledge it and know that everything could be a lot worse. Remind yourself – gratitude.”

Jennifer stars in ‘Love Happens’ - about a widower who writes a book about coping with grief which becomes a bestseller – alongside Aaron Eckhart, who says she was a dream to be around.

He revealed: “The best part of the movie was falling in love with Jennifer, we had a great time. I’d never met her before, but I’d heard great things.

“Her ease, her balance, her philosophies in life, how effortlessly she worked. She has great timing and surrounds herself with great people. Life is pretty good for her right now.”
