This weekend's soccer action has already seen a number of great goals including one from Arsenal's Jack Wilshere hailed by Arsene Wenger as 'among the best he's ever seen'.
But the stunning strike lighting up Twitter today comes not from a Premier League prima donna but from Stephanie Roche of Dublin's Peamount Utd, who netted this sweet shot against Wexford Youths yesterday.
The Peas went on to beat Wexford 6-1.
With over 140,000 views at time of writing, Steph's stunner has caught the imagination of many online.
Former Southhampton star Matt Le Tissier was among those to praise the strike on Twitter, calling it "goal of the season".
“To be honest, I didn’t think at the time how good of a goal it was," Roche told Extratime.ie.
"I knew it was a good strike, but I wasn’t thinking anything of it.
“Obviously when I heard it was videoed, I wanted to get a copy of it, so I kind thought it was a good goal but, the hype over it is unbelievable. I can’t believe it.”
Now super-Steph seems to be getting some stick from her teammates over her new-found celebrity...
