Every year, over 70,000 garter snakes gather at the Narcisse Snake Dens in Manitoba, Canada with one goal - to get it on. It is the largest gathering of snakes in the world.
The Snake Dens - which are open to the public - are full of limestone caves where the snakes gather to form 'mating balls' in which up to a hundred snakes compete for a single female.
Yikes.
Here's a video. You're welcome?
Garter snakes are harmless to humans - they don't even have any teeth - but that doesn't stop them from being seriously unnerving.
The absolute WORST thing about this video though is the noise of thousands of snakes slithering along the ground.
