A bridge in Westwood, Massachusetts in the US is causing some terrible traffic problems in the town – as truck drivers can’t seem to stop hitting it.
Despite numerous clear warnings, the East Street Bridge - which has only a 10' 6" clearance - has been hit twice this month alone.
Last Thursday provided another dramatic example of how truck drivers are continuing to ignore the warnings - as a truck practically exploded after striking the bridge at speed.
The Westwood Police Department confirmed that the driver was uninjured in the crash and were at pains to remind drivers that the bridge does not change height – even at night.

Amazingly, there was
with the bridge in 2014, and that trend is continuing this year.Officials are yet to find a solution for the bridge problem, but maybe it’s time local truck drivers read the giant warning signs more closely.
