An elderly Chicago driver almost gave an entire salon a heart attack after plunging her car through the front window and into the back room.
The surveillance camera at the Salon captured the entire scene as workers engaged in casual chat at the front desk when all of a sudden a car crashed into the room and smashed straight through the back wall.
Apparently an 83-year-old woman was behind the wheel of the car.
She made the simple mistake of pressing the accelerator instead of the brake while parked in the handicap space at Salon Fusion on 108 Skokie Blvd.
Sure it could happen to anyone.
A witness said the whole thing happened in two seconds and it was over in a flash.
"We heard this loud rush, honestly I thought it was a bomb, and then whoever was in the car just ploughed through the front window." Cathi Borushek said.
Luckily no one was hurt in the incident.
We reckon the old lady should take the bus from now on…
