WATCH: Sligo boy doesn't want to go to bed; decides he's old enough to move out

One little boy from Sligo has taken avoiding bedtime to a whole new level, writes Denise O'Donoghue.

Some children move out when they have to go to college, others when they have to go to bed.

Four-year-old Alfie refused to go to doze off for his dad, and when pressed about it decided he had had enough of living at home altogether.

He told the household he was moving to another house there and then - but he wouldn't tell them where his new home would be.

The only problem? It was night-time, he didn't have a working torch, and he might be a little bit afraid of the dark.

His uncle, Noel Mc Tiernan, shared this very cute video of the whole saga with us.
