Like most five-year-olds little Edward O'Meara is an inquisitive boy and turned to his grandfather Ned Dillon to ask him an "important" question.
Edward had been out playing with the family dog Phoebe yesterday and according to his mother Paula he had to ask Ned why do dogs sniff each others backsides?
Paula told breakingnews.ie she was surprised with what her stepdad Ned said next: “I’d never heard him tell this story before, it was fantastic.”
The extremely original story has some brilliant twists and turns!
Paula also explains that granddad and grandson are “best buds” and do almost everything together.
This duo has certainly brought a smile to our faces today!
