Watch Eoghan McDermott and Roz Purcell have the most awkward conversation EVER on radio

Roz Purcell and Eoghan McDermott pulled off an epic sketch on Tuesday when she called in to discuss Lidl Ireland's Taste for Success.

For those of you who don't know, Roz Purcell used to date Eoghan McDermott's best friend Niall Breslin aka Bressie.

The pair pretended to have the most awkward interview about Bressie before Roz fake walks out.

The 26-year-old appeared on the show to discuss the taste for success, but the line of questioning very quickly appeared to have nothing to do with Lidl…

After playing The Blizzards 'Perfect on paper' Eoghan McDermott opened the interview by asking Roz if she knew The Blizzards, which got a less than enthusiastic reply.

After apologising for his 'inappropriate question' Bressie's best mate then asked Roz why any given 35-year-old would not drop down the anchor.. making reference to The Blizzard's song 'Drop down the anchor'.

To which Roz replied: “Are you serious?”

Moving swiftly on Eoghan then deals another zinger asking Roz “if one was perfect on paper, then dear God...” another reference to a Blizzard's track where a prominent line is “She's perfect on paper, dear God why do I hate her?”

To which Roz replies “Eoghan if you ask me one more question, I am actually leaving.”

Eoghan quickly moves onto his next attack asking “Your new boyfriend Zac, how is he?”

Had enough Roz tells Eoghan she is leaving and Eoghan quips “Did you dump Bressie because he is unemployed?”

You have to watch this, it is car crash at its best.

We might not know much about Lidl's taste for success, but we feel we learnt a lot from this short interview...

The whole thing was a joke by Eoghan McDermott and Roz Purcell, but it sure was good radio!
