VIDEO: This Valentia Island wedding ring hunt is better than your average best man speech
It's now almost mandatory to have an entertaining sketch video as part of your big day but these two lads from Valentia Island really went all out.
Raymond Lyne was best man for his friend Seán Casey's wedding to Claire Conniffe but when the time came to give his speech at the wedding reception in the Connemara Coast hotel, he surprised the couple with this video instead.
Starring himself and fellow groomsman Colm (Seán's brother), the spoof video shows what happened when they wake up on the day of the wedding after a heavy night on Valentia Island - minus the wedding rings.
The two lads go on a madcap dash around the rainswept Kerry island (where they're from) but manage to make time for a kick around the pitch and the required visit to the local grotto. The pair retrace their steps in an attempt to locate the rings before the wedding - only to find them where they least expect to .

The couple were delighted with the pair of messers - who thankfully didn't actually forget the rings - calling the video an "amazing treat on our wedding day".
