In the worst political campaign idea since Fine Gael's video game, the leader of the UK's second party has decided to show off his cool.
In a supercut video of inescapable hit song Uptown Funk, that is.
Rhyming the original's opener "this hit, that ice cold" with "this hits everyone in our country" it just goes downhill from there.
This video will make you say 'oh no' to yourself over and over.
Oh no. He's trying to be
."We're too hot, Lib Dems, and I care about our country," is
a good replacement for "I’m too hot (hot damn) / Called a police and a fireman."It has not gone down well with voters, the media, or anyone with eyes and ears.
Oh, and for some reason @LibDems decided to mix @nick_clegg with Uptown Funk. WE DON'T KNOW WHY EITHER.http://t.co/YKYSvjjk6G

Watching Nick Clegg's Uptown Funk video, watching him grasp desperately at relevance, is physically painful.

Released by the official Liberal Democrats YouTube channel, it's labelled as the "Liberal Democrats (unofficial) Election Anthem". God help us when the official one comes along.
What they were
to do, bless, was a British version of the wildly popular mashup series Baracksdubs, which featured Obama giving it socks to this tune back in January. The main difference between the two being, well, everything.
Good luck in the election, Nick. If this is what your PR team is churning out, you may well need it.
