VIDEO: Irish League fan goes mental at reserve match as last-second goal nets him £650

Kyle Cadden from Enniskillen saw a risky £150 wager pay off last weekend while watching a reserve game in the North.

Cadden and his mates were some of the very few watching Ballinamallard United IIs 3-2 victory over Dungannon Swifts Reserves - with the score locked at 2-2 striker Andy Little popped up in the 90th minute to seal a hat-trick sending Kyle into hysteria.

Kyle’s friend caught the magic moment on his phone and his expressions in the build-up to the goal are hilarious.

But why bet on Ballinamallard United IIs?

The University of Ulster student explained his reasons to Belfast Live: “I live with a player that plays for them and he said that he thought they’d a good chance.

“Sometimes my brother Jordan plays for that team too and he thought they’d a good chance too.”

Having had his student loan come in Kyle decided to take an enormous risk, but it paid off and his thoughts have now turned to spending the £650 winnings.

“It’ll probably be spent on a lot of nights out in Belfast, maybe on more bets on Ballinamallard Reserves,” said Kyle.

The joys of reserve team football eh!
