A group of young Irish fans stole the show at their first baseball game in the US on Saturday night.
The GAA jersey-clad youngsters, presumably over on the J1 visa, fascinated the commentators in San Diego during the Padres game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The group can be seen having a great time in the stands, with good natured chanting and dancing.
The main commentator sums the scene up the best by saying: “They may have had a beverage or two, it's hard to tell.”
You can see jerseys from Cork, Clare and Tipperary in the crowd and it seems like the guys and girls are
enjoying their time in the States.Let’s face it, they had to do something to make baseball more interesting.
