Two-month-old giraffe makes first appearance at Fota after broken leg

Poor Clodagh broke her leg while being born on June 22nd and was out of action with a cast for six weeks.

While that's a bummer, she did look very cute with her cast on.

But now she's rejoined her herd at Fota Wildlife Park after making a full recovery.

Lead Warden at Fota Wildlife Park Aidan Rafferty said all the staff are delighted to see her out and about with mum Aoife, dad Walder and all the other Rothschild's giraffes.

“She has made a fantastic recovery having only been taken out of the cast over two weeks ago and it is great to see her so active today with the other giraffes,” said Aidan.

And now look at her go!

No bother to you, Clodagh!
