“Am I tough enough? Hell yes I'm tough enough."
So said Ed Miliband during Sky News' 'Battle for Number 10' debate with Jeremy Paxman and Kay Burley last night. The Labour leader was being quizzed on the public perception that he wouldn't be able to go head to head with world leaders such as Putin.
Doing his best 'tough guy attitude', Miliband disputes this but we kind of feel his delivery let him down.
Do you buy it?
Another bizarre moment came at the end of the interview, when Paxman - not known for his motherly tendencies towards politicians - leaned over concernedly and asked Ed if he was alright.
Many people on Twitter accused Paxman of being patronising and overly personal in his attacks on Miliband - at one point, Paxman referred to him as a North London geek.
#BattleForNumber10 Paxman asking Milliband if he was alright was a calculated remark to make him look like a naughty school boy!

But David Cameron wasn’t let off lightly either, facing tough questions from Paxman on the NHS, the budget and friends such as Jeremy Clarkson.
