This video perfectly captures the thrill of the hunt.
As part of a research on their hunting habits, some researchers strapped head-mounted cameras to two peregrine falcons to observe the flight patterns while they're attacking their prey - in this case a crow.
The falcons work in tandem, dive-bombing and circling the crow in complex figure-of-eight patterns.
The resulting video is dramatic - set against the snowy fields, we watch from the bird's POV as they soar and suddenly drop, weaving around their prey.
We wouldn't like to be that crow.
They look like fighter jets zeroing in on a target, don't they?
