This Irish Trad band is making waves across the shores with their flamboyant fast paced music with a traditional curve and a modern feel.
The Young Irelanders are a new Irish traditional band touring America at the moment and releasing an album in Ireland in the summer.
The band is made up of eight members which play a wide range of instruments from accordian and melodeon to fiddle, flute, whistle and bodhrán.

Their latest video, a performance with a brass band has gathered over 14,000 views since yesterday and that number is sure to keep rising as their uplifting music weaves its way around the internet.
The Young Irelanders consists of Damien Mullane (Accordion & Melodeon), Colin Farrell (Fiddle, Whistles & Vocals), Kieran Munnelly (Flute, Whistles, Bodhrán, Snare & Vocals), Stephen Markham (Keyboard, Piano, Percussion & Vocals), Sean O’ Meara (Guitar & Vocals), Lisa Canny (Lead Vocals, Harp & Banjo), Siobhán Manson (Dancer) and Tomás Ó' Sé (Dancer).
Some of these members have toured as part of David Gray’s band, recorded with members of the Rolling Stones and performed with Sting.
