Colaiste Muire in Cobh has been celebrating Wellbeing Week in the hope of creating more positive attitudes to physical and mental health, both in school and their local area.
One of the things they’ve done is perform an incredible flash mob to promote positivity in the school.
Speaking to irishexaminer.com, PE teacher Amy Moriarty said that activities like the flash mob raise awareness of Wellbeing Week as well as increasing the level of participation in aspects of physical activity.
Ms Moriarty said the event energised both the pupils and the staff and that positive vibes were rippling through the school.
Transition year students from Colaiste Muire have set up chillaxteens.com in the hope of spreading the Wellbeing Week message.
