Why do we keep trusting things we see on the internet? We just keep getting hurt.
Rob Cantor - who uploaded a video of himself appearing to sing while doing an amazing array of celebrity impressions - has released
video showing how the viral vid was made. And he did NONE of the impressions. That's right, none.
Impressive, right? WRONG.
As a part of the promotion for his new album, Rob enlisted the help of 11 different impressionists and recorded each of them singing his song "Perfect" in different celebrity voices.
He then filmed himself lip-syncing to the track and edited it to appear as if he was doing the impressions himself.
Ok, so the actual celebrity impressionists are still very, very talented and we guess his lip-syncing was pretty good but we're quite disappointed.
We should have known one man couldn't make all those sounds... Who's going to buy his music now everyone knows he tricked them?
