Twenty years ago a nine-year-old wrote a short essay about life in 2016 and it says a lot about this guy’s imagination.
The essay has been kept safe by his mom who gave it to Christopher as a gift for his 29th Birthday and he uploaded to Reddit.
The post has been viewed over 239,000 times.
The short description of our present day includes cars that float, schools made of funny shapes and computer desks with weird pencils.
He also mentions robot policemen.
Finally the young Christopher proclaimed that the New York Giants will win this year’s Superbowl and the Dallas Cowboys will never win the SuperBowl again.
A bit of a grudge against the Dallas Cowboys we reckon.
We don’t think this guy should go pro with predicting the future as none of these things have come true, except for the Dallas Cowboys not winning the SuperBowl lately.
We bet he feels good about that one, but it is funny to look at the stuff people thought would be around by now.
He should make another list for the next twenty years and see what he expects to happen by 2036.
Maybe we will have floating cars and robot policemen by then –but we highly doubt it!
