So did you stay up to catch the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Brooklyn last night?
If you did, you'll have seen the performance from Miley Cyrus which can be best described as… um.. (actually, this is hard).
The former Disney sweetheart, daughter of pointy-goateed country crooner Billy Ray ("don't break my, my achy breaky," etc), emerged from the belly of a stuffed teddy to perform a weird version of new tune 'We Can't Stop', replete with stuffed-animal dancers and what looked like a GIANT BOOTY WOMAN.
Preparation for the performance appeared to involve the choreographer being off sick for a week, and texting Miley to say "just stick your tongue out and flail your arms a bit, you'll be grand".
But it was when Robin Thicke (Blurred Lines, women in the nip, hey-hey-hey-hey etc.) came out that things really started to get behind-the-couch uncomfortable, as Miley whipped off her teddy-bear swimsuit thing and proceeded to rub her peach-coloured posterior up against Thicke's man parts.

We didn't know where to look. The audience at home didn't know where to look.

Poor Drake didn't know where to look.
Rihanna appear less than impressed.

(Although the One D boys were glued).
And the Pinkett-Smiths were frankly, horrified.
Meanwhile, *NSYNC also got back together at the VMAs last night, with Justin Timberlake being kind enough to help out with the other lads' pension funds.
And Lady Gaga performed 'Applause' live.
You know, it's a funny old pop world when poor Gaga is relegated to a footnote in a 'most shocking VMA moments' piece.
Up your game, Gaga.
