This video has been causing a bit of a
online … (sorry).US videographer Michael Sutton took this amazing footage of a honey bee colony in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Sutton was stung just three times while filming hours of footage using a Canon 30-105mm Cinema zoom along with various other cameras.
Sutton even imported some cool factoids into his piece like:
* A bee’s wings stroke at about 200 beats per second.
* Worker bees are female and only live for around six weeks.
* And, drone bees are expelled from the hive in winter.
We will leave you check out the clip for the rest and take in the wondrous life of the honey bee.
Dare we say the bee’s look slightly cute thanks to the quality of the video.
