Sinéad O'Connor took to her website to explain how she gave money to a busker in Dublin so he could buy a flight to London to see his girlfriend.
Apparently, O’Connor came across the “young, dreamy” guy strumming his guitar with a sign in front of him.
The singer was struck by his romantic plea and asked how much the flights were, to which he replied: “€140 ... That’s how much it is today on Ryanair.”
To check if he was telling the truth, the star asked the busker his girlfriend’s name because, she writes, “That’s how you know how someone feels about someone. Ask them to say the person’s name then watch, it only last a little second or two.”
Immediately, O’Connor gave him the money right out of her purse as “he beamed like an Easter candle.”
To prove his honesty, once the busker had his flights booked, he sent the kindly singer a photo of the Ryanair confirmation email which you can see on her website.
