Sharon doesn't know much about art, but she knows what she likes. And it's not this.

Sharon Ní Bheoláin can't hide her opinion of modern dance

RTÉ newsreader Sharon Ní Bheoláin was caught rotten on the Six One news last night after an unexpected cut back to studio left her high and dry.

Viewers were enjoying a segment on and upcoming modern dance festival in Dublin - with the final shot featuring two male dancers in yoga pants doing what looked to the untrained eye like 'writhing' - when the camera caught Sharon's epic look of disdain and bemusement as she watched on her desk monitor.

She was, in the memorable words of the crew over at The Daily Edge, giving it the 'serious side eye'.

Well aware she'd let the mask slip, Sharon emitted a little gasp (quiet at the back, there) and quickly launched into the financial news.

But it was too late, and she spent the rest of the broadcast trying to stifle her giggles while internet jokesters jumped gleefully on her faux-pas.

Ah well, we're all human.

At least now Aengus Mac Grianna won't be the only one being slagged in the RTÉ canteen.
