Seven-year-old Bana Alabed’s Twitter account has disappeared.
The little girl gave the world a child’s view of the Syrian conflict which has killed some of her friends and left her trapped with her family in Aleppo.
Her 26-year-old mother Fatemah helped her to document the daily destruction, sometimes of hospitals, in an effort to alert the international community.
Recently, they were left homeless after their home was bombed.
She has posted images of the ruins of a house where her friend died in an attack.
The last message sent on the Twitter account Bana shares with her mother, Fatemah, was: "We are sure the army is capturing us now. We will see each other another day dear world. Bye.- Fatemah #Aleppo"
They live in the rebel-controlled sections in the eastern part of the city, which has come under heavy bombing by the Syrian regime and Russian warplanes.
Her followers are devastated and are waiting on news of Bana and her mother.
The 7-year-old brave girl who tweets from Syria no longer has an account. Here's to hoping Bana Alabed and her family are safe. #WhereIsBana

For those who think Bana Alabed's account is fake, a team of @AJArabic staff visited her and filmed this in November https://t.co/9KDRoTXeWF
