See inside this Cork man’s hurling ‘Man Cave’

And like all expats, he experiences homesickness from time to time, so what does he do?

Instead of moving home to Ireland, he moved a little bit of Ireland into his home - with the help of US TV show, Man Cave.

Donal wanted to turn his unused basement into a Cork GAA themed Irish pub, and the American makeover show did just that - well, kinda.

Between hurling and Donal’s thick Cork accent the construction crew didn’t really have a clue what was going on.

"I don’t understand a word he [Donny] says. It's like the commercials on tv where they try to fit 400 words into ten seconds, that's what he sounds like,” one of the hosts announced.

“He talks very fast but all the other people that he brought around here from his hometown in Cork, Ireland understand him. When they communicate and it sounds like a bunch of aliens from another planet.

“And I have no idea how hurling works”.

So, to make them relate, Donal decided to bring them for a quick ‘puc-a-round’ in his local club.

And if we say so ourselves, they didn’t do too badly.

So without further ado, we give you the finished product - the hurling 'Man Cave'.
