It may be getting close to Christmas but Santa took time out of his busy schedule to fly down to New South Wales in Australia and rescue a man from a burning house.
What a guy.
In truth, the rescuer was a firefighter - Nick Carey - dressed in a costume for the annual NSW Fire and Rescue Telarah brigade's Christmas school lollipop drop-off. The crew rushed to thescene of the fire when they saw smoke billowing out of a nearby house. When they arrived, the property was engulfed in flames and the front door was locked.
Breaking down the door, they found an unconscious 20-year-old man inside. Carey - still in full costume - can be seen in the video performing CPR on the young man.
"The BA (breathing apparatus) crew radioed that they’ve found someone inside so I went up to the front door to help carry him out,” Carey told News Corp.
“I think the beard and the hat came off when we started the resuscitation. It’s definitely the weirdest and most awkward situation I’ve found myself in.”
The victim is in a stable condition in hospital.
