Samsung kennel makes a mockery of the phrase 'in the dog house'

The tech firm has come up with a dream dog house, just in time for Crufts.

Samsung kennel makes a mockery of the phrase 'in the dog house'

Maybe the technicians at Samsung are sick of being put 'in the dog house' by their partners, because they've come up with the most luxurious kennel we've ever seen.

Or maybe pet lovers are getting very soft on their pooches.

A survey of dog owners by the electronics firm has found that 64% of them believe their dogs would benefit from more technology and gadgets.

A quarter (24%) wanted their pampered pets to have a treadmill, the same amount wanted them to have a TV or tablet, and amazingly, 18% said their tykes deserved a hot tub or spa!

So in response, Information-age.com report that a team of 12 Samsung designers and engineers took six weeks to come up with a kennel for that discerning canine.

Andy Griffiths, president of Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said: "From dogs who have social media profiles to owners who use video calling to check on their pet while away, technology is fast becoming an integral part of everyday life.

"The Samsung Dream Doghouse looks sleek and modern, featuring the kind of tech the discerning dog of the future will need."

Samsung are sponsoring the Crufts dog show this year and they'll be showing it off there when it starts tomorrow.
