Music lovers at the Waterford Harvest Festival got a bit more than they bargained for on Friday last after an open-air gig was crashed by a runaway pig.
The errant porker was the star of the show as local band King Kong Company were playing on The Mall during the afternoon, as he dashed in front of the stage pursued by a number of people, much to the mirth of the crowd.
Thankfully it was all captured on video and uploaded to YouTube by Eric Heaslip.
An eyewitness told breakingnews.ie that the pig had been penned nearby as part of a 'petting zoo' - one of the festival's many attractions - but no doubt entranced by the quality tunes had made a break for freedom.
All's well that end's well though, as the pig was soon recaptured.
"They got him down by the Munster Bar," the witness said.
As for the band themselves, they are slightly embarrassed by their moment in the spotlight and strenuously deny accusations that the entire thing was a publicity stunt.
"We're lying low at the moment in case Pink Floyd try to sue us," a spokesperson said.
