Police car crashes into Dunkin' Donuts

Seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up.

A police car in the US state of New Jersey crashed into the side of a local Dunkin' Donuts outlet yesterday, CBS Philly reported.

The police SUV collided with another vehicle in the town of Berlin, New Jersey, before crashing through the window of the doughnut shop.

The officer driving the car suffered minor injuries, according to CBS Philly, which posted still images online after its news helicopter flew over the scene..

"The driver of the other vehicle and patrons of the store were not injured.

"The crash caused structural damage to the Dunkin’ Donuts store and is under investigation."
