PIC: Dublin father comes up with tough punishment for smoking son

A Dublin dad has taken a rather unusual step in a bid to get across the message to his 15-year-old son to stop smoking.

After catching his son in the act on Friday, the father decided to sell his iPhone 5c on DoneDeal.ie for just a single euro.

Explaining his move in the listing description the father feels that regular punishments were not an option anymore: “(My) 15-year-old son was caught smoking on Friday for the second time. Grounding him did not do the trick, so hopefully this teaches him.”

The post is still live and if you fancy trying to buy the phone you can do so here.

We don't know if he is 100% serious with this, but hopefully it will put out his son's desire to smoke.
