New Zealand Police force aim to recruit new members - with a dance-off

Ever been disappointed you couldn't combine your love of dance with a career in the police?

If, for some reason, yes, then this recruitment video from the New Zealand Police Department is for you.

As they say themselves:

"We catch people on the run every day, this was a new #runningmanchallenge for our team."

They've got moves!

It's only been up since last night but it's fast approaching two million views and has been shared over 27,000 times. And they’ve challenged other police deparments in Australia and the US so expect some more uniform-clad dance offs.

But maybe not from the Isles of Scilly Police force as they note they have "a modest team of five and occasionally a cat."

Any scope for an Irish version? No? Fine.
