Mugshot of ridiculously good-looking felon goes viral
Yes, we know he's a criminal but . Damn.
This is Jeremy Meeks. The married, father-of-one is currently being held in San Joaquin County Jail after being arrested on Wednesday in Stockton, California.
A convicted felon, he is facing five felony weapons charges and one gang-related charge.
So he's definitely no angel. But that hasn't stopped the ladies of the internet collectively losing their minds after his mugshot was posted to Facebook.
The mugshot has received over 40,000 likes and 12,000 comments since being posted to the Stockton Police Department Facebook page.
Most of the comments have been from women admiring his blue eyes and chiselled cheekbones.
"Surely a model agency will bail him out, those blue eyes and skin tone is right on..... He's too pretty to get locked up," wrote one person.
"How can someone look that good in a mugshot? Amazing," another asked.
However some were well aware that while handsome, looks don't count for everything.
"This guy was convicted of felony weapon charges. Sorry, I just don't think that's attractive no matter what you look like," said one poster.
A spokesman for Stockton Police Department called Meeks "one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area". He is being held on $900,000 bail.
Speaking to reporters from the jail, Jeremy said that he hopes to turn his life around.
Perhaps he has a future in male modelling?
