We are all familiar with Babe the pig that thinks it is a sheep dog, and now we have Steve the cat that thinks it is a lamb.
Steve was a normal 8-month-old cat until his New Zealand owners Amanda Whitlock and her partner Ben, took in a flock of lambs.
Within a few days of the lambs arriving the pair noticed behavioural changes in their domesticated cat.
He was no longer lounging by the fire and loitering around the house as he used to, now he was frolicking around the garden with the rest of the lambs, sniffing grass and nosing about in the flowers.
A strong argument for nurture over nature, if ever we saw one!
