Do you judge people work in McDonalds?
Well, Mike Waite from Edinburgh certainly feels judged and has taken to Facebook in a public rant that is quickly going viral.
Mr Waite talks about how working in McDonald’s is a demanding, intense, difficult work environment that pushes him to his limits.
The McDonald’s worker also goes on to say the people he works with all have a story to tell whether it is going back to education, supporting a family and kids or saving for something.
“There are people becoming pilots, lawyers, designers, architects, and people who are at a point in their life that they will do whatever it takes to look after their family”.
The post has been stirred quite a reaction with over 44,000 people reacting on Facebook as well as being shared almost 7,000 times.
Mr Waite finished up his rant by saying he would be proud to put McDonald’s on his CV and it was far from being a ‘dead end job’ in fact for him and others, it was just the beginning.
Something to think about next time you go to order a Big Mac.
