13-year-old Limerick filmmaker/vlogger Luke Culhane has created a new video highlighting the need to #CreateNoHate on social media in a stand against cyber bullying.
The video has an important point - cyber bullying affects real lives.
The powerful message is highlighted by showing the young teen getting physically injured with each message of online abuse.
Luke is a 1st year student at Castletroy College, Limerick, and has spent over 40 hours on the video between planning, filming and editing the project.
The video comes as a new report states one in four teenagers suffered hate abuse online in the last year.
Luke offers advice on how to deal with cyber bullying in the video, telling anyone affected to 'Stop, Block, Tell'.
Stop and think before posting online as it might be upsetting to someone. Block and report the person and tell a parent, guardian or teacher about any incident of cyber bulling.
An important message. Well done Luke.
