Just a few weeks before their big day, Emily Spaven and her now-new husband David Sharkey decided to spring a surprise on their guests.
Having sent a list of the usual wedding fare to their band, The Seducers, Emily and David had a change of heart.
29-year-old Emily and David, 35, chose Barberstown Castle in Straffan, Co Kildare as their venue and exchanged vows on April 29.
The couple were hoping to film the look on their guests’ faces when the band played Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name out of the blue, but they were stunned by what happened next.
Not only did their guests not bat an eyelid at the song, they started an actual mosh pit in the middle of the dance floor.
Speaking to the Metro.co.uk Emily described the whole scene as “crazy”.
“It was crazy. A full-on mosh pit formed on the dance floor,” said Emily
“David was crowd surfing and everything.”
It looks like everyone had a brilliant day, however it seems like the bride now only has one thing on her mind.
Honeymoon here I come!
