Huge dog interrupts live weather broadcast

Oh sure - NO one could have predicted this.

Huge dog interrupts live weather broadcast

It all starts out well enough - weatherman Mike Sobel and Ripple the 18-month-old mastiff ( BIG dogs) are getting along fine - it’s even possible to get out a few lines about what the weather’s going to do.

Then, it all goes to hell. Ripple chews through his lead and starts leaping all over poor Mike.

With a dog this size, it's hard to know where play ends and 'just-seconds-to-live' starts. However, Mike rejects an offer from someone off camera to hold Ripple for him, making the good point that there's no one with any better chance of holding the hound back from his play.

We have a feeling it's all a bit staged by the crew at Global News in Edmonton, Canada. Still funny though.
