How to remove the new U2 album from your iTunes

We're not saying that you should get rid of that new U2 album from your iTunes library but just in case you wanted to, Apple have kindly released a set of instructions on how to do it.

Step 1. Go here and click 'Remove Album'.

Step 2. Sign in with your Apple ID and the password that you use for the iTunes Store

Step 3. Celebrate your freedom.

Yesterday, Apple announced that 33 million of the 500 million iTunes account holders have accessed the free album since its release at the iPhone 6 launch last week.

'Songs of Innocence' will be available to download for free until October 13th - after that you'll have to spend actual money on it.

You have been warned.
