Hilarious Belfast family video goes viral

A maths problem provokes a minor family meltdown and seriously annoys their mammy.

Hilarious Belfast family video goes viral

"If I am travelling 80 miles away at 80mph, how long will it take to reach my destination?"

Straightforward question, right?

Not for this colourful family from Belfast - the question provokes a minor family meltdown (and a spilled can of Coke).

It's worth watching for the mother's delightfully blue language which manages to be hilarious and terrifying in that very specific Northern Irish way.

NSFW language so beware

The video has gone viral after being posted to Reddit, with many non-Irish commenters amused and horrified in equal measure by the Belfast expressions.

"I loved the back and forth with her mom, I could listen to that accent all day," said zcksurf14.

Hawkens85 commented:

"Oh my god I'm almost in tears. This has everything. The blond. Ditzy, clumsy, and not-so-bright. The laughing camera man at all the right points."

"The thick accent that you'll lose if you don't follow closely. The angry mother who's pissed at life and right now, taking it out on her daft daughter for not understanding something so simple."

"Whoever uploaded this, THANK YOU. You've made my week."

Some commenters such as dromoe were more concerned about the spilled drink:

"More importantly, who spills a drink and just sits there looking at it?"

We wonder if anyone's managed to explain the answer to the question to her yet?

Not that it matters now that she's internet famous.
