This photo of a little girl hugging a pilot is going viral for a very good reason.
Three-year-old Ruth Evelyn “RE” Pranke's mother, Karlyn, found out she was going to be born without any arms 20 weeks into her pregnancy.
Jessica Cox was also born without arms but she has never let that get in the way of achieving her dreams. Not only is Cox a Black Belt in two martial arts, she's also a motivational speaker and the world's only armless pilot.
So when Karlyn found out about Cox, she knew RE had to meet her.
"It's been very inspirational to me that she has come as far as she has to overcome her disability - and my daughter has always said, especially lately, 'I want arms, I want arms," Karlyn told ABC News.
"I wanted her to see she doesn't have to have arms. I wanted her to see all the things Jessica can do."
Cox is the subject of a new documentary called Right Footed and RE and her mom went along to the premiere to met Jessica.
The pair took this photo to show that you don't need arms to give a good hug and the photo has been shared widely online, with people calling it inspirational.
Jessica also took RE too see her aeroplane and told ABC News what it meant to meet kids like her.
“When I meet a child without arms, it feels like I’m giving back. It’s that feeling of, ‘Oh, I’m going to be OK. I’m going to be able do everything this woman did,’ is what I’m giving back to RE and other children," she said.
“It’s saying, ‘I’m going to be just fine.’”
