See? Some things to do with that show *do* have happy endings!

Happy fact: Sansa Stark adopted her direwolf, Lady

Game of Thrones fans, rejoice: we've found a happy, feel-good story to do with everyone's favourite sadistic TV show.

Sophie Turner, better known as the TV incarnation of Sansa Stark, was recently profiled by the Coventry Telegraph, where it turns out she adopted Lady, the dog used as her direwolf - the symbol of the Stark house - in the show.

If you're not a fan of the show, you're probably thinking: so what? She adopted a dog.

Well, SPOILERS, all the Stark kids got a little puppy at the start of the show, and were really, really happy, back when the series had yet to make a habit of ripping viewers' hearts out. But things didn't end so well for Lady.

After the killed-off animal character left the show, it needed to find a new home. "Growing up I always wanted a dog, but my parents never wanted one. We kind of fell in love with my character’s dire wolf, Lady, on set," Turner told the Telegraph.

“We knew Lady died and they wanted to re home her. My mum persuaded them to let us adopt her.”

Awwwwwww.
