Natalie Dubose opened her cake shop Natalie's Cakes and More this past summer - a life-long dream for someone who has always loved baking.
This week was set to be one of her busiest - with Thanksgiving pies and cakes to be made and delivered.
But Natalie was left devastated when her shop windows were smashed and the bakery damaged during this week's riots in Ferguson following the decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson over the killing of unarmed teenager Michael Brown.
Thousands of protestors took to the streets - many peaceful - but there has also been widespread damage, looting and clashes with the police. It is local business-owners who have borne the brunt of much of the violence.
Natalie's plight came to attention when a friend convinced her to set up a fundraising page on Tuesday which was then promoted by Brandi Granville - from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills TV Show.

In the few days since it has been set up, over 7,000 people have donated over €190,000 ($240,000). Natalie's original target was €20,000.
Dubose is, of course, delighted but says she's still focused on the baking.
"I am just overwhelmed with gratitude," she said. "I don't think it's even kicked in because I've just been trying to get these Thanksgiving orders out of the way. I'm overwhelmed with joy and just grateful for the support."
She also thanked the volunteers who have helped her clean up and deliver her cakes.
