Our Facebook news feeds are more crowded than ever these days so they've come up with a nifty way to help you make the most of it.

Facebook added a new feature yesterday and it's very handy

Our Facebook news feeds are more crowded than ever these days. News, links, places, movies, TV and music - there's A LOT being shared and you don't always have time to read, watch and listen to everything the first time you see it.

So we're very excited about Facebook's new feature - and it's as straightforward as it is useful. It's called 'Save'.

Launched yesterday, the new feature simply allows users to save content to read later - when it suits them.

So next time you see a Facebook page or a news post of interest but don't have the time to read it -or you just want to keep a record of it - click the drop-down menu on the top right-hand corner of the post. There, you will find the 'Save' tab. Click it and voilá! It is now saved.

To view all your saved items, just look to the top left of your news feed and you will see the 'Saved' header. All your saved items are here, divided by type.

Easy!

The new feature is not yet available to mobile users but according to Facebook's blog post, it will be rolled out in the next few days.

The Save function is only a simple addition to Facebook but it looks like it's going to make our lives a little easier.

And who doesn't want that?
