Drum roll please - Enda Kenny’s back on Twitter

Well, it’s a bit of a land to get at 8pm of a Sunday evening, when your twitter feed fairly explodes because the country’s leader Returns To Twitter, after a three-year hiatus.

The tweet from the Taoiseach’s account said:

The tweet’s #littlethings hashtag is a reference to the HSE’s @littlethings hub, a mental-health social media initiative.

Enda Kenny first joined twitter in April 2010 but stopped tweeting when he became Taoiseach.

He has more than 21,000 followers, to date.
