An American woman got a bit of a surprise extra with her Burger King order when she was given a bag of cash instead of the food she had ordered.
Janelle Jones was on the way home from the drive-through of a New Hampshire Burger King last Friday when she discovered that instead of the sweet tea and Junior Spicy chicken sandwich she had paid for, the bag contained $2,631 (€2342) in cash instead.
Janelle called her husband and, together, they decided to return the money - which was a Burger King bank deposit - to the restaurant.
Matthew Jones told Foster's Daily Democrat that he and his wife briefly considered keeping the money but said that he and his wife are Jehovah's Witnesses - and that "Jehovah sees everything."
And as a reward for their good deed, Janelle has said that the manager of the Burger King has offered the couple five free meals.
So that’s something?
